Teaching & Learning
- Develop teaching strategies that connect children's new experiences and knowledge with their existing understanding, leveraging their prior learning and daily life experiences.
- Employ age-appropriate instructional methods that foster high-quality early childhood education and inclusive learning, ensuring every child in the kindergarten class can actively participate and thrive.
- Implement teaching approaches that stimulate children's curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional development, such as using storytelling, role-playing, and hands-on activities. Encourage children to express their thoughts and feelings, helping them develop basic thinking and communication skills.
- Integrate various educational technologies and resources suitable for young children, like interactive whiteboards, educational apps, and multimedia materials, to enrich teaching content and make learning engaging and fun.
- Use simple, vivid, and consistent language in the classroom, along with gestures and expressions, to help children understand and master basic vocabulary, phrases, and concepts related to daily life, emotions, and nature.
- Clearly communicate and demonstrate expected behaviors to children, establish classroom rules through interactive discussions, and adopt positive and effective classroom management strategies, such as positive reinforcement and visual aids, to create an orderly and harmonious learning environment.
- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment that encourages children to take an active role in their learning. Organize group activities, cultural celebrations, and collaborative projects to promote children's intercultural awareness, respect for diversity, and self-expression.
- Participate in cross-curricular unit planning and implementation, integrating various aspects of early childhood education, such as language, mathematics, art, and physical education, to develop children's comprehensive abilities and holistic understanding of the world.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in early childhood education by regularly exploring professional resources, attending training sessions, and communicating with colleagues, continuously improving teaching methods and educational quality.
Requirements
Required Education background and teaching experience:
- Teacher from USA/UK/CA/IRL/AUS
- Major in education, literature and Applied Psychology is preferred
- Holding teaching certificate such as PGCE/QTS/State licenses is preferred
- At least 2 years of related teaching working experience in school
