HKDSE will be Held in China's Mainland for the First Time
From February 17 to 19, the HKDSE (Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination) model test will be held at the Beijing Normal University - Hong Kong Baptist University United International College(UIC) in Zhuhai. This will be the first time that the HKDSE model test has been set up in China's mainland, and it will be conducted simultaneously with the model test in Hong Kong. The online application is currently avaliable on the UIC's official website.

Quality School International of Shenzhen(QSI) will Move to New Campus This Year
The headmaster of Quality School International of Shenzhen(QSI) confirmed the plan for summer relocation on January. Students aged 2 to 13 will to new campus in the new acdemic year. The high school department will remain in Shekou and then move into main campus building. The school will announce more information about the campus visit and official opening date in the coming week.
Hangzhou Adjusts the Policy of Bonus Points for "Zhongkao"
Hangzhou Education Bureau has released a notice on further improving the distribution and enrollment of ordinary High Schools in Hangzhou, in order to promote education equality. The notice is now open to the public for comments. The notice retains the bonus items for children of soldiers and overseas Chinese, but cancels the bonus points for children of Chinese with foreign nationalities in "Zhongkao (secondary school entrance examination)".

IB World Schools Yearbook 2023 Released
The IB World Schools Yearbook 2023 has been released, according to the official website of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).
The Yearbook gives a comprehensive introduction to the International Foundation Certificate program, shows the details of 5600 IB World Schools in 159 countries, and counts the number of IB World Schools and programs in various countries. It also provides the contact information and official website of the IB World Schools Association in various regions.

New Record for NYU: University Receives 120,000 Applications for First-Year Admission
New York University announced the 2027 undergraduate application data on its official website. This year, NYU received nearly 120000 applications, an increase of 13% compared with last year, including nearly 22000 applications for early decision, an increase of 14% compared with last year. This is also the 16th consecutive year that NYU has set a record high in the number of applications.
On the whole, the admission rate of New York University has dropped directly from 32.1% to 12.2% since 2015. The school estimated that the admission rate will decline further this year.
