Job Description
ABIE Academy is a pioneering international academy specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education. Our centers, operating in the downtown Shanghai area, deliver a revolutionary way of teaching that cultivates students' creativity and independent thinking. We are currently in the process of opening a new center in Shanghai, with plans to use an entirely new curriculum to teach grade 1-6 students.
ABIE Academy aims to create a completely English-speaking learning environment, focusing not on English language tuition, but on STEM education. Through cooperation with outstanding foreign teaching talent, we hope to achieve a truly unique learning experience for all of our students.
The role of the Center Education Manager (CEM) is to:
1.Deliver regular lessons and DEMO classes to the highest standards
2.Schedule effective classes, extra-curricular activities and events for teachers
3.Participate new orientation training for new teachers and lead regular teacher training sessions
4.Assess academic staff’s performance and provide constructive feedback together with developmental plans
5.Work closely with the Center Managers to ensure inter-departmental co-operation and effective communication
6.Update and consult the Academic Director and Training Manager to guarantee smooth product implementation and overall academic operations
7.Assist Head Academic Department in testing and implementing new products and courses
