You'll need to:
· Prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities
· Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development
· Research new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge, and devise and write new curriculum materials
· Prepare pupils for external examinations
· Manage pupil behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehaviors
· Undertake pastoral duties, such as taking on the role of homeroom teacher, and supporting pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties
· Communicate with parents and careers over pupils' progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole-school training events
· Participate in and organize extracurricular activities, such as elective programs, outings, social activities, school concerts and sporting events
· Undergo regular observations and participate in regular in-service training as part of continuing professional development (CPD).
· Lesson preparation and collaborative planning;
· assessment of / for students’ learning;
· Classroom decoration
· Contribute your expertise in a committee
· Supervising students during night study
· Participate in external accreditation exercise;
· Participate in weekend student recruitment activities (At least one Saturday or Sunday a month for not more than 8 weekends a year);
· Participate in the schools assembly programs
· Other tasks assigned by the school during official work hours

Requirements
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree or above
Candidates with the following experience and training will add advantage:
- More than two years of relevant experience
- Postgraduate Degree in Education or Related Teaching Subject
- A teaching license recognized by home country’s education ministry
- Homeroom teacher experience
- IB / IPC / Cambridge related workshops for teachers
- English language teaching related certifications from credible awarding bodies
- IB PYP / IPC transdisciplinary approach to inquiry
- Understanding various language assessment tools e.g. MAPS / Raz-kids /Cambridge YLE
