Job Description

Job Summary & Responsibilities

The role of the English Teacher is to:

Student age range: 8-15 years old.
Class size: Unlimited – Online classes.
Class length: 40minutes to 1hour.
Working Days & Hours: 32 – 40 hour’s office hours and teaching hours (days off stipulated in interview).
Curriculum: PeiYou On-Air uses Concept English textbooks, teaching materials are provided for the curriculum. Training on the curriculum is provided during initial training.
Chinese Teaching Assistant: You will be assisted with a bilingual Chinese teacher for each class.
Training: Schools provide an initial training when a teacher joins the school and on-going training for their teachers throughout the year.
Work responsibilities: Teaching classes based around vocabulary and text, creating English learning videos and taking part in researching activities.

Requirements

Speaks English at an Idiomatic level.
Degree: BA or above (Education, linguistics or English degree given top priority).
Experience: TEFL / other teaching certificate OR 2 years teaching experience required.
Relocate: Must be willing to relocate to China.
