Job Summary & Responsibilities

Nanchang University is a national university situated in Nanchang, the provincial capital city of Jiangxi province, which is located on the south of the Yangtze River. Jiangxi is famous as the home of porcelain (china). Nanchang university dates from Jiangxi Public Medical College and National Chung-cheng University, which were founded in 1921 and 1940 respectively. Later on,Jiangxi University merged with Jiangxi Industrial University to set up Nanchang University in 1993, which created a precedent for the reform of the national higher education system. In 1997,Nanchang University was listed as one of the national key universities of the "211 project", which is a joint cooperation project of the People's Governmement of Jiangxi Province and the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. In 2005, Nanchang University and Jiangxi Medical College merged to form the new Nanchang University, unveiling a new page in school reform and development. Therefore, the new Nanchang University continued its tradition of higher education began in 1921 in the 21stcentury.

We are looking for full-time English teachers of spoken English, written English, and English speech or debate for undergraduate English majors and for postgraduate non-English majors.

Requirements

1. English Native Speaker

2. Bachelor-degree or above

3. Two-year language teaching experience (not required for applicants who hold a bachelor degree (or above) of education, language or teaching, home country teaching certificate, and international language teaching certificate)

4. In good health, aged 22-59

5. Clean background

Benefits

1.Monthly payment: RMB 8,000-10,000 before tax, depending on work experience and qualifications

2. Airfare reimbursement: RMB 14,000 per school year

3. RMB 600 per month for electricity

4. RMB 3,000 per school year for vacation expense

6. Medical insurance covering the whole contract period

7. Workload will not exceed 18 classes of 45 minutes a week.
