Our purpose-built campus occupies 50 acres (20 hectares) in the Tianfu New Area of Chengdu, south of the city centre, and has the capacity for approximately 1,000 students. Léman boasts world class facilities which includes fully equipped modern classrooms, science laboratories, an art studio, music studio, I.T. rooms, gymnasium, 25-metre indoor swimming pool and large outdoor sports facilities.  LIS is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

The Primary School curriculum is based on the English National Curriculum programmes of study for English and Maths combined with elements of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), currently provided in 1,000 schools in 65 countries.   In our Secondary School students follow the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) from Years 7 to 11. LIS is an IB World School and offers the IB Diploma Programme for students in years 12 and 13.

Chengdu is a modern city in Western China famous for excellent food and the home of the Giant Panda.  Many interesting destinations in South East Asia are a short flight away with direct flights to Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
