High School Alevel/IGCSE Economics and Business Studies Teacher

RDFZ King’s College School Hangzhou is seeking Whole School Art Teacher(G1-G9) for their bilingual section. The successful candidate will join the school community in Hangzhou, China in August 2020.

RDFZ King’s College School Hangzhou is one of two new school development projects in China initiated through partnership between Dipont Education, and the prestigious King’s College School, Wimbledon. A third partner in Hangzhou is The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China (RDFZ), one of China’s leading schools.

Our elementary and junior high school sections cover Grades 1-9, offering the Chinese National Curriculum integrated with international teaching methodology and content.

Pupils benefit from an integrated curriculum delivered by teaching teams of Chinese and international teachers. Our rigorous curriculum has been designed to meet the needs of each individual by ensuring a breadth of educational experience and academic depth that prepares them for progression through the School. It encourages students to explore, discover and excel, while learning fundamental concepts that lead to academic success in the years to come.

As pupils enter junior high school level in Grades 7, the humanities programme distinguishes between geography and history, with science also splitting into three distinct disciplines. Politics and ICT are added as compulsory elements.The Chinese curriculum is taught through Grades 7-9 by subject specialists from both Chinese and international backgrounds. We have international teachers in English, science, drama, art, PE and music.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant major;
  
• Excellent experience in Art teaching;
  
• Minimum 2 years’ verifiable subject teaching experience;
  
• Working experience in K-12 school( preferred)
  
• Good team player and solid communication skills;
  
• Passport holder from: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa ( Due to China's visa regulation）
  
• Cross cultural awareness
  
• Experience in international contest(preferred)
  

Benefits

Salary:

RMB 21,000 + gross per month subject to internal terms and policies in relation to working experience, qualifications and professional achievements

 Gratuity: upon successful completion of the 3-Year Contract and sufficient notice is given

Housing Allowance: RMB 6k+

Relocation Allowance: RMB 2,000/4,000/8,000 upon initial joining and then eventual departure subject to policy conditions.

Airfare Allowance: RMB 12,000/9,000/1,200 per school year dependent on age

Tuition: up to 2 eligible dependent children maximum
