Job Description

A prestigious Shandong province public school with an international department currently offering College Board AP and IBDP.

Located at the central part of Zibo, our School is a renowned high school with a strong tradition and is one of the first key schools in Shandong to introduce standardized education for the Chinese National Curriculum.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE PROFILE

Purpose:

To ensure the successful development, implementation, delivery and compliance of a two-year IB Diploma Programme Education

At least Bachelors Level in Education or the equivalent

A Master degree in educational leadership or the equivalent is desirable

Teaching qualification specializing in relevant subject area

IB DP Coordination workshop CAT 1 certificate

Up to date subject knowledge with proven success in raising student attainment Professional

At least 1 year experience in a leadership position preferably as Head of Department

At least 3 years’ experience in an IB school teaching in the IBDP

Experience in implementing major new projects and leading change in schools

High level of awareness of current research as to how children learn and develop

Be current with relevant international curricula you are assigned, programmes of study and assessment methods

Capable to ensure highly effective teaching and learning and improved school standards

Capable to identify learning deficits and strengths to provide teaching and learning guidance

Efficient in implementing and maintaining operational systems

Counselling and advisory skills in order to support and guide students, parents and colleagues in your curriculum requirement

Efficient in material resource management and staff training

Demonstrated ability in performance appraisal and staff development

Well able to motivate high morale in staff members and students

Able to articulate educational issues and perspectives in communication with the school and broader community.

  • Our compensation varies based on related teaching experience and our evaluation based on your interviews and can be negotiated.
  • The rough range ¥400K-800K/year. If a teacher deserves higher pay than this range, the school has no problem about offering a higher salary.
  • Accommodation furnished provided by school (utilities costs not included) or housing allowance
  • Fully paid winter and summer holidays.
  • Annual medical insurance for emergency accident cover.
  • Annual Transport allowance of RMB 120 (per month)
  • Baggage allowance for arrival RMB 1440 (prorated on the number of full months served at the completion of the first year only)
  • Air fare subsidy of RMB 11,000 (prorated on the number of full months served in a 12-month academic year)
