Job Description

EtonHouse International School, Suzhou opened in 2003 in the Suzhou New District(SND).As an IBCuntinuum School and Cambridge IGCSE school, it offers a fully authorised International Baccalaureate World School program for primary Years Programme(PYP), Middle Years Programme(MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). EtonHouse International Suzhou is also a Cambridge School and a Duke of Edinburgh Award Centre. The environment provides students multitude opportunities for exploration that support the rich inquiry based learning offered at the campus.

Support: Vice Principal and Program Coordinator
Committee membership: MYPMeetings and DP Meetings
Hire Clarification: International
Position Level: Teacher
The role of the Biology Teacher is to:
To teach IB DP Biology and Math courses as scheduled.
To demonstrate fair analytical skills and explore inquiry based teaching methods for expanded 
learning experiences.
To provide feedback to students on their in-class performance and out-of-class assignments so that they may develop effective study independently.
Participates in all collaborative planning meetings.
Actively participate in school activities and professional development programmes.




Requirements


Requirements ​Requirements:

-Bachelorof Education or higher, with related major.
-Hold a valid teaching license from a state licensing board or Education Department.
-Minimum 2 years’ verifiable subject teaching experience in K-12 school.
-Fluency in English speaking and writing.
