Person Specification (required)
• Undergraduate degree
• 3 years relevant classroom teaching experience
• IGCSE ESL experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Relevant qualification – e.g. TEFL, TESL, CELTA, TESEL, etc

• Undergraduate degree in education/qualified teacher status
• Postgraduate degree in education
• Experience teaching at international/bilingual middle/high school
Position Responsibilities
• Responsibility to teaching IGCSE ESL course and student exam grades
• Teach with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Teach maximum of 20 number of classes per week
• Consistent and clear communication with teaching team and management staff
• Monthly report on teaching status
• Effective lesson planning and preparation
• Sourcing and inclusion of additional teaching resources for classes
• Consistent and clear communication with Chinese co-teachers and colleagues
• Proactive in foreseeing and preventing potential problems
• Efficient and caring in resolving problems
• Active participation in professional development program
• Constructive participation in team meetings
• Participate in semesterly parent open classes
• Create mid-term and final student exams
• Effective student preparation for mid-term and final student exams
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree or above
2. Native-English Speakers
4. Elementary school curriculum experience preferred
3. PGCE / CELTA / BA Ed advantageous
3. Preferred in China
