Kindergarten German/English Teacher

School Description

Eduwings is a trilingual international kindergarten for German, English and Chinese kids. Students are 2-6 years old. Following a German Kindergarten curriculum, students are put it in small groups with native speaking teachers for an enjoyable learning experience. Eduwings Kindergarten has two campuses, one in Shunyi and one in Haidian District.

Our teachers are well educated, experienced in early childhood education, and motive native who create an exciting and interesting learning environment for your child to learn, play and grow. We are an international team. Our teachers are coming from Germany, China, USA, Canada, etc. Our teachers communication with kids in their mother language. 

Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

• Greet parents and kids friendly in Chinese, English and German according to their nationality
  
• Lead the daily attendance check 
  
• Write semester plans for the class` development
  
• Write weekly parents’ letter to review the week and give a preview on next week
  
• Write weekly a weekly plan with all planned activities in 
  
• Write a monthly theme activity booklet to review the monthly topic for all languages 
  
• Teach lessons in one language (native language) according to the development of the children and match in every week the educational parts of the curriculum
  
• Supervise the lessons of cooperation teachers in the class and guide cooperation teachers to use rich lesson material, various teaching methods and offer age and development appropriate contents
  
• Observe lessons of cooperation teachers and fill in the observation form 
  
• Observe the children during free time play, use “making videos” to document the observations (for each month 3 for each child) 
  
• Analyze the observations and write a PowerPoint Presentation every half year about each child to focus on the interests, skills in all educational parts mentioned in education tree, need to support parts and individual education offers
  
• Hold parent meetings every half year with each parent (around 2 hours per family)
  
• Self-study about educational topics who are actual in the class
  
• Cooperate, Consult and Guide the parents according to our eduwings philosophy 
  
• Answer parents’ questions or guide them to get the right information (transfer to another person) 
  
• Daily communicate with all parents about the daily happening and needs of the child
  
• Set up a stable and trustful communication and relation to parents
  
• Prepare festivals and activities for children according to the school calendar
  
• Prepare teaching material and guide cooperation teachers to do so
  
• Participate on weekly lead teachers and teachers’ meetings
  
• Give feedback and response to manager on demand about the situation in the class, about single students or parents communication
  
• Daily preparation of the room 
  
• Daily cleanup of the room
  
• Weekly ground cleaning of the room with disinfection
  
• Daily basic cleaning of the room with disinfection
  

Job Requirements:

• Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland
  
• Bachelor’s degree or above
  
• TEFL/TESOL certificate 120 hours or above
  
• At least 2 years teaching experiences

• Basic monthly salary: RMB 18k/month-22k/month (depending on qualification and experience)
