Kindergarten Principal

This vacancy is from a client of TopTutorJob.cn. We are looking for a kindergarten principal / headmaster for an international kindergarten in WUHAN, China.

Hsuanhuai Institute is an international and STEAM education service provider. Headquartered in both Beijing and Shanghai, Hsuanhuai is now preparing several kindergartens in Wuhan and Nanjing.

Pre-opening stage

- To develop and design a curriculum framework for the new start-up kindergartens together with the research team, outlining the scope of goals, skills and content of the curriculum; - To establish procedures and practices for the assessment of student progress;

- To establish faculty evaluation and supervision appraisal protocols and practices;

-To establish student enrollment criteria and develop enrollment protocols and practices;

- To organize and implement promotional events.

Operational stage

- Continue to develop and refine curriculum design, planning and teaching pedagogy.

- To supervise and track the implementation of the curriculum.

- Continue to develop and refine the faculty appraisal system and organization of supervision;

- To develop a professional development plan based on identified needs;

Requirements

- Early childhood/preschool education qualifications; (preferred)

- Minimum 5 years teaching experience in early childhood settings; (essential)

- Experience with managing a team with at least 10 teachers including local and international teachers; (essential)

- China experience (desired)

- Understanding of Chinese culture and education system preferred;

- Intercultural communication proficiency.

- Strong leadership capabilities and experience as an education administrator preferred.
