Formerly known as Shanghai Peiming Middle School, Shanghai United International School Peiming Campus (SUIS Peiming) continues the Xiehe Education tradition of providing lower secondary students with both local stream and international stream curriculum options. The local stream option emphasizes the national curriculum while the international stream prepares students for future study abroad.
Founded in 1925 and located in downtown Shanghai, the school has more than 90 years of history and a profound cultural heritage. Relying on the core value of Xiehe Education – ‘Explore and develop together through the integration of Eastern and Western cultures’ – SUIS Peiming school will be managed in trust by the Xiehe Education Group commencing August 2022.
The SUIS Peiming campus includes many historic buildings, ensuring that instead of just being a place to learn, the campus connects students to their shared history, identity, and community. Facilities include a gym, gallery, assembly room, multimedia classrooms, school garden, and science rooms emphasizing physical sciences, biological sciences, and technology skills.
Following the Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum, international stream students participate in the following courses: STEM, English, Mathematics, Global Perspectives, and Physical Education. After classes, students may also enroll in clubs, co-curricular activities, and extra-curricular activities.
Requirements
-Solid teaching experience in related field, at least 2 years
-Stable working experience
-Work visa qualified and currently in China
-Cambridge Curriculum teaching experience where appropriate
-EAL/ESL teaching experience is preferred
