Science Teacher

A high school science teacher is required due to the expansion of the school. The teacher will be expected to teach students in Grades 10-12. Classes will be dependent on the candidate's area of expertise. All teachers are expected to be enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting the students to reach their full potential. The class sizes are no bigger than 25 students. Honors and higher-level classes are smaller. 

All resources are provided as well as the syllabus. The teacher is expected to tailor the lessons to fit the student group. All students are second language students. The students have a good level of English knowledge, but they may have some subject-specific vocabulary gaps.

There is a School Administration System and Gradebook provided. As well as SMART Boards in all classrooms. The school is an iPad school, with all students having access to an individual iPad. iPads are provided for all teachers.

Livermore International School Nanjing is a partnership School with No 3 Middle School which was founded in 2015. The campus is situated in the center of Nanjing and is self-contained. The classrooms feature modern display technology and the building was built in 2016. It is part of the MacDuffie Schools, with campuses in Nanjing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Granby MA in the US. MacDuffie Schools conform to the highest educational standards. Schools in China are designed to provide western education to Chinese students. The curriculum is American and follows the standards set in the Common Core Curriculum.
