1. Responsibly plan and teach Social Studies lessons
2.Contribute and develop a comprehensive Social Studies curriculum for Tsingxiang School
3.Contribute to an active, co-curricular Social Studies program
4.Support student learning by collaborating with other teachers and departments of the school, especially supporting ESL learning across subjects
5.Enhance student critical thinking skills; provide extension support for students with special talents and interest in Social Studies subjects by recommending opportunities to them and possibly offering extra tutorials
6.Support the school’s commitment to the 4C skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity in teaching and working with colleagues
7.Promote cross-cultural understanding among faculty and students
8.Participate actively in curricular work, curricular writing, and professional development within the curriculum group and the faculty at large
9.Ensure that all materials pertaining to curriculum development, lesson and unit planning, and activity planning are stored on the appropriate online platforms designated by the School (e.g., Atlas, TEAMS)
12.Offer at least one elective or club for students each semester 13.Occasionally cover classes for colleagues 14.Conscientiously carry out responsibilities when on duty 15.Assist with Summer School, Study Trips when possible. 16.Assist with other student activities when possible
