Job Summary & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Kindergarten, the successful applicant will join the school in August 2018. The Kindergarten will cater for students aged 3 to 6 and will operate a bilingual curriculum based on the UK Early Years Foundation Stage integrated with elements of the Chinese curriculum. There will be a shared pedagogical approach throughout the campus, enabling Chinese and expatriate students to benefit enormously from the cross-cultural exposure.
The Kindergarten offers an open, fluid learning environment where lessons and activities are held both inside and outside of the classroom. Classes will operate in pairs for each age group and will be staffed by one Chinese teacher and one expatriate teacher with additional assistant support. This will allow teachers to support each other in planning, delivery of the curricula and the development of each child’s English and Chinese language skills.
This exciting and challenging role commands a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including: high quality housing; flights for employee and dependents and medical insurance for employee and dependents. Full tuition support will be provided for any successful applicant with school age children. The position will be offered on an initial two-year contract term with annual renewal thereafter.
