Job Description
School Vision
The goal of Haidian Foreign Language Academy is to develop students that have the skills to be successful in both a Chinese and Western school environment. We expect our students to be academically well-rounded, possess critical thinking skills, have personal integrity, be polite and well-mannered, and most importantly, to show care and respect for others. The teacher’s role is to create a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth, to establish rapport with students, to motivate students to develop academic and life skills, and to establish productive relationships with parents and staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising the teaching staff(including paraprofessionals) and evaluating classroom performance
- Working with teachers in determining curriculum organization, teaching materials, and class scheduling
- Planning, scheduling, and implementing teacher professional development. Depending on the needs of the staff and available funds, these professional development sessions may be led by staff members, community members, or outside consultants
- Organizing and scheduling parent/teacher conferences

Contract period: 18 months
Requirements
Required Education background and teaching experience:
- Teacher from USA/UK/CA/IRL，American Certified teacher is preferred
- Major in education, leadership and Applied Psychology is preferred
- Holding teaching certificate such as PGCE/QTS/State licenses
- Had experience in education management
- No Criminal record
- Care about the students and teachers.
Interview Process:
- Interviewed by Foreign Director online face to face 35-45 minutes
- Vice principal online face to face interview 35-45 minutes
- School tour. (Both in Beijing Haidian campus and Wuhan or Hainan campus. )
- 35 minutes demo class with 28 students at school. ( Beijing Haidian campus.)
