Sutton Valence School, a leading English co-educational independent day and boarding school, in association with Hopeland International Kindergarten Group, a successful, Chinese-owned independent education provider, opened this new co-educational, dual curriculum day Preparatory School for 7-12 year-olds in Tianjin, China’s fourth largest city, in September 2017.The School is highly successful and expanding rapidly. It now requires a full time, English-speaking Classroom Teacher for Year 2 class, to work in this first-class environment. This is a specialist ‘Early Years’ position which requires knowledge and experience of teaching at this age-group. The School offers a dual curriculum (English and Chinese) with subjects taught in both languages and with the pupils integrated for many activities and community events.
While it is not essential, it would be an advantage if candidates could also offer a specialism or interest in one or more of Art, Drama, Games or ESL.
