Job Description

ECNU Affiliated Bilingual School is a reputable K12 IB school in Shanghai Jiading District!

Job Responsibilities:Main Responsibilities:

• To teach the curriculum established by the school, integrating the curriculum with the school's Educational Objectives;

• To take the responsibility of designing lesson plans that demonstrate a clear connection between instruction and the curriculum established by the school, selecting and using school-approved teaching strategies and classroom resources, implementing teaching research;

• To provide a stimulating and effective learning environment for the students in supporting their learning, encouraging students' creative thinking and promote critical inquiry;

• To maintain close partnership with parents, colleagues and the community;

• To provide both written reports (termly) and informal communications (where required) to parents on the growth, progress, and attainment of the students;

• To Create a safe, orderly and supportive classroom atmosphere that is conducive to effective teaching and learning;

• Other duties as reasonably required by the Head of High School;

Requirements

Requirements:

• Native English speaker

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education preferred

• Teaching qualification

• Minimum 3 years’ full time teaching experience

• ESL experience is desirable, experience with Chinese students preferred

• Excellent classroom management and behavior management skills

• Ability to work as a part of a team in planning and implementing the school’s curriculum, strategic plans and policies

• Strong interests in leading extra-curricular program

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
