Business/ Economics teacher

Our school is located in the north-central of Dongguan City, Chashan, Guangdong Province（广东省东莞市茶山镇）. It is a place that has been honored and has rapidly developed into a new modern town suitable for living, business, industry, tourism and especially for education. Our school is situated near the train station and the newly opened MTR which make it very accessible to go to the downtown, Hong Kong or the neighboring big cities like Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

- Follow the IGCSE and A-Level curriculum and requirements to prepare your teaching and assessment plans and materials respectively for the semester.

- To teach 20 periods per week in the agreed subject(s) including day and evening classes （2 session of evening class = 1.5 session of day class）, student administration, marking and conducting examination, reporting, meeting with parents to discuss student progress, attend staff meetings, assist in student recruitment, participate in promotional and marketing activities as requested, attend professional development as well as carrying out other related duties assigned by the Principal/Deputy Principal or Academic Director. Staff is expected to work on some weekends.

- Instruct students to complete homework, tests and examinations as required by the academic office.

- Follow daily timetable set out by the school and report regularly to your managers.

- Attend meetings and participate in all activities of your department and the school unless otherwise advised by your managers.

- Please note that this is a full-time position and you may be asked to be on evening/weekend duties as per your workload.  We do not offer part-time positions.  

Requirements

* At least Bachelor Degree or higher related to the subject to teach

* Capable of teaching A Level or IGCSE subject

* Not less than 2 years of teaching experience

* NO any criminal record

* 24 - 55 years old

* Capable of communicating in Chinese is a plus!
