Job Summary & Responsibilities

You will serve as a mentor and advisor to high school students applying for admission to top U.S. undergraduate degree programs. You will help students:

   Identify their strengths and weaknesses to stand out in a holistic admissions process

   Develop their skills and potential through genuine, quality relationships

   Help them understand the value of a liberal arts education and global citizenship

 

As you advise students through each step of the college application process, you will have the opportunity to help Chinese students develop their self-awareness and the kind of skills that will allow them to thrive at college and beyond.



Requirements

       A bachelor’s degree from a highly-regarded U.S. college or university (top 40 is preferred)

       A passion for education and impacting the lives of young people

       Strong writing, editing and interpersonal skills

       Self-motivated yet able to function well as part of a dynamic team

       Eager to work in a linguistically and culturally diverse environment

 

Ideal Qualifications

       Mandarin language proficiency

       Study abroad or international experience

       Previous work experience in international education, admissions, or journalism/creative writing
