Academic Operation Manager& International Teacher （Based in Beijing）

Office: based in Beijing HD School

Academic Operation Manager, (20 per week), report to Crane,

Academic training related

Ÿ Develop the head teachers of each center and regional training coordinators to be able to conduct offline onboard training packages for new teachers

Ÿ Travel to each region and conduct on site teaching training on semi-annual basis, and share best practice.

Ÿ Maintain written records, observations and evaluations of each training.

Managerial responsibilities

Ÿ Organise action-oriented bi-weekly meetings with GMs and Center Head teachers. Pro-actively increase efficacy of all policies and implement Athena standards for student monitoring, assessment, feedback and reporting

Ÿ Pro-actively organize the Center Head Teachers into a collaborative team in order to ...

− know what is happening at each center

− transmit important information through one channel between the HO and centers as well as between centers themselves

− facilitate discussion and problem-solving among more common center problems

− share event ideas and planning outlines

Ÿ Maintain updated and accurate records, observations and evaluations of the head teachers of each center

Ÿ Complete other tasks as assigned by line manager

International Teacher (14 teaching hours and 6 admin hours per week), report to Crane, coordinate with local operation team

Ÿ 14 hours online and offline teaching hours per week

Ÿ Winter and summer break will have longer teaching hours. For additional teaching hours above 14 hours/week, the hourly rate will be RMB250/hour

Ÿ Conduct screener for students in emergent circumstances.

Working hours

Ÿ 9am – 5:30pm or 10:00am – 6:30pm on week days depending on class timetable (Tuesday to Friday)

Ÿ 9am – 5:30 on Saturday

Ÿ Base pay: RMB24,000/month

Ÿ Teaching hour compensation: RMB100/hour, 10 hours guaranteed/week

Ÿ Housing allowance: RMB5,000/month

Ÿ Bonus: 1 month salary
