Job Summary & Responsibilities
DHES is a boarding school established in 2004. Currently counts over 10,000 students in 2km^2 campus. In the year 2012 International Department has been established within School’s structure, that now counts 650 students, grades 1-12. We offer several programs to our students including IB, A-Level courses, Dual Diploma course, Aviation program etc.
● Working as an English IBPYP Teacher in the Bilingual department of Primary School.
● Preparation of lesson plans, conducting classes (currently 10-16 per week), participating in collaborative meetings with grade teachers, preparing students to take part in activities (International Day, CCTV Speaking competition, etc.), field trips, assessment, communicating with parents.
● We are looking for active involvement in building curriculum and activities to engage students and parents.
● 8:30-17:30, including up to 24 teaching periods per week (average 18 classes per week in practice). Rest of the time devoted to preparation for classes, conducting exams, communicating with parents, helping students, preparing school activities, attending trainings and workshops, etc.
Requirements
1. Native Speaker of English (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa)
2. Bachelor's Degree or higher
3. Has energy and passion for teaching.
