Primary/Cross School Art Teacher

About the Role​

You will be an effective professional who will deliver the vision and ethos of the school which is centered on learning in a bilingual environment through a blended curriculum, offering students an international mindset whilst still nurturing pride and respect for their own culture and traditions. You will be passionate about teaching music and growing students into confident learners. We will look to you to promote high expectations for our students, designing learning activities that are aligned to our school’s curriculum and creating a learning culture where students are confident to be socially, academically and personally ambitious. You will foster an environment of respect within the classroom, facilitating learning through questioning, discussion and exploration. NACISS provides a high quality and distinctive learning programme for our students, drawing on the best of education worldwide and maximizing the benefits of our strategic alliance with Nord Anglia Education.

It will be an advantage if you are familiar with a wide range of curriculums including the International Primary Years Curriculum (IPC). Experience of teaching students within a bilingual setting will be an advantage but not a prerequisite, a desire to teach in a multicultural environment is a must.

Requirements

- At least Bachelor’s Degree and Teaching qualification
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
- International teaching experience
- Experience in a bilingual language learning environment
- ESL in the Mainstream certification or equivalent
