ECE Homeroom Teacher ( half day)
- To carry out the professional duties of classroom teacher as circumstances require, under the direction of the Co-principals.
- To work co-operatively with other staff to plan, facilitate and evaluate a programme that meets the needs of the students and follows the guiding principles of the school.
- To communicate and consult with Parents openly and willingly in both formal and informal situations, to keep Parents informed of school functions and topic forecasts. If a parent wishes to discuss issues concerning their child’s progress during class time teachers should make another time to meet so that the class supervision will not be disrupted.
- To support the organisation of the Early Childhood Sector of the Yew Chung Foundation to assist and support activities and functions held on and off the campus.
Requirements
l At least have a bachelor’s degree, preferably a degree in Education
l Teaching certificate (QTS, PGCE, PGDE, teaching certificate that issued and recognized by their home country, i.e Canada teaching certificate, SACE, )
l At least 2 years of full-time teaching experience in a school setting
l Candidates value and are well aware of child protection.
l Have at least 2 years of relevant full-time teaching experience of that position/subject
-For homeroom and English teaching related positions: native speaker is a must
l Have teaching experience of below curriculum(s)
-YC schools : Primary & Lower Secondary - UK national curriculum based; Upper Secondary - Y10&11: IGCSE, Y12&13: IB

l Pay scale range: RMB 19K- RMB 44K/m before tax
l Insurance: •For Employee: Group medical insurance coverage including hospitalization, outpatient and emergency evacuation, 100% covered by School •For Spouse & Child(ren): Group medical insurance coverage, 90% covered by school.
l Fixed and Variable Gratuity: A maximum of 15% of total earned base salary over the term of the contract, including 9% for Fixed Gratuity plus a maximum of 6% for Variable Gratuity
l Professional Development Allowance: RMB 5,000 per School Year
l Housing: A Furnished Apartment or Housing Allowance (housing allowance differs based on the location)
l Baggage Allowance & Airfare Allowance are also available.
